Q & A Gender equality and diversity

The Q & A session Gender equality and diversity is a blended-learning program. You can only attend the in-person session if you have previously completed the Moodle course “University and Equal Opportunity” (duration: about 1 hour). Objectives
• Participants recognize the relevance of addressing issues of equality and diversity in their day-to-day work at university
• Participants develop and discuss ways to foster a fair, non-discriminatory atmosphere at the university
Content
• Description and discussion of the situation at universities regarding equity and diversity
• Providing knowledge about organizational structures and processes, e.g., in cases of discrimination
• The impact of stereotypes on perceptions and expectations
• Examining mechanisms that jeopardize equity and inclusion
Many challenges and issues can only be touched upon in this Q&A. The University of Graz therefore offers a wide range of staff training and counseling services.
