Content
This course focuses on equal opportunities, equality, and diversity in university life, and how we can actively shape a respectful and fair coexistence.
Through concrete examples and brief reflection prompts, you will recognize how biases and stereotypes influence perceptions, decisions, and behavior. You will gain insights into gender equality at the University of Graz and learn about practical actions for dealing with prejudices. Additionally, the legal foundations of discrimination protection (University Act, Federal Equal Treatment Act) will be explained in an understandable manner.
A dedicated chapter addresses the topic of harassment, including sexual and gender-based harassment, as well as rights, contact points, and protective measures at the university.
Take your time, listen carefully, and engage with the exercises: Every step strengthens the shared foundation for a fair and appreciative campus.
