The workshop will cover the basic principles of questionnaire construction and the various aspects necessary for the development of a questionnaire. The structure of the questionnaire, the different types of questions, the construction of scales and the principles of question wording will be discussed. Tips and tricks for independent questionnaire development will be provided. Practical exercises will illustrate the construction of a questionnaire.
The workshop is aimed at people with little or no previous experience of questionnaire design. For those who wish to deepen their knowledge of specific methods, we recommend attending the more advanced workshops of the GMZ.
Building on the content of the above workshop, we recommend attending the workshop “Basics of quantitative data analysis with SPSS”.
Lecturer: Angelika Lepold is a psychologist and holds a PhD in psychology. She is in charge of the management of the Centre for Empirical Research.
